4.Designing the Solution
Armed with our research and SWOT analysis, we set out to design our chatbot, named "AHA"- Ask HealthShots Anything. AHA would serve as a friendly guide, helping users navigate the intimate health section with ease.
4.1 Chatbot Personality
The mascot "AHA" has a 3D clay design combination of friendly eyes, expert glasses that displays that is both accessible and authoritative.
It features friendly eyes that convey warmth and trustworthiness, inviting users to interact without hesitation.
4.2 Integrating with Content
The backend would consist of DB, with data that would be managed centrally and stored with the central AI team. They would provide with 2 APIs :
API for manual queries
API for Prepopulated questions
The frontend would be managed by Healthshots, the section and category would be controlled only on the frontend. There would be no section wise restrictions in the API or data being pulled from the DB
4.3 Building the User Interface
The UI design of the AHA page embodies key conversational design principles to enhance user engagement and interaction. The conversational tone is evident in the banner's character illustration, "AHA," which greets users and encourages them to ask questions. This conversational approach fosters a sense of friendliness and accessibility, aligning with the principle of creating a human-like interaction.
5.Bringing AHA to life
Developing AHA was a meticulous process. Our team worked tirelessly, integrating AI and Data Base capabilities to ensure accurate and helpful responses. We collaborated closely with HealthShots' content team to keep the chatbot’s database current and comprehensive.
We tested AHA rigorously, conducting multiple rounds of usability tests with real users.
